Gurnee, Ill .—A family of Dynapar brand intrinsically safe encoders, when used with approved barriers, will meet the requirements for applications containing flammable gases, vapors, liquids, combustible dust, or ignitable fibers. All Dynapar IS encoders, H20 (2.0-in. diameter), H20 hub shaft, H25 (2.5-in. diameter), H58 (58 mm diameter), and H26 (2.5-in. with flange mount/integral coupling) feature industry-standard dimensions, electrical outputs, and termination options. The encoders operate on 12 V dc nominal power to the barrier, however, they enable users to obtain the correct 5 V output levels without using a variable output power supply or adjusting input power. A full range of resolutions, mounting, and shaft variants, open collector or line driver outputs, and connector or cable exit options are available. www.dancon.com
