I/O blocks mount on machines
These machine mount I/O modules have high-density inputs, large LEDs and setup switches.
By Plant Engineering Staff

Profibus blocks are machine mount I/O modules for Profibus networks. Similar in overall design to the company’s DeviceNet blocks, the two new Profibus blocks include input-only and configurable versions. Features include all-metal low-profile housings designed to protect cables; high density inputs that enable the use of splitters to double the input count; easily accessible set-up switches to make addressing fast and simple; and large, highly visible status LEDs. Both models provide a range of inputs that and can be set for normally-open or normally-closed operation. Compatible Profibus cables and connectors are also available.
