ISA Automation Week wraps up in Nashville

Rebooted program reaches out to a broader audience. Video: Maverick Technologies’ Paul Galeski explains his strategy for drawing higher attendance.

While the Country Music Association Awards might have drawn more people to Nashville, the ISA Automation Week Technology and Solutions Event had its own audience at the Music City. This year the program took a new direction guided by Paul Galeski, CEO of Maverick Technologies. His vision has been to broaden the cross section of attendees, drawing more from management by extending the program’s reach. Rather than being mostly technical, Galeski has pushed it more toward a more holistic look at automation. As he said in the conference program, “The conference sessions will deliver applications, case studies, and theory, while highlighting four critical parameters: safety, people, business, and technology.”
