ISA Expo 2004: CiDRA exhibits liquid flow, entrained-gas monitoring system
Houston, TX—CiDRA Corp. demonstrated at this week’s ISA Expo 2004 its True Liquid Flow and Entrained-Gas Monitoring System, which is one the firm’s SONARtrac products.
By installing non-intrusively on existing process lines, this clamp-on system allows real-time measurement of the volumetric flow and amount of entrained air/gas present in liquid, continuous-phase process fluids. The system also provides a measurement of only the liquid portion of the flow by compensating for the amount of entrained air/gas in the process line.
“We work closely with our customers to understand their longstanding challenges, particu-larly those that simply can't be met with conventional flowmeter technology,” says Kevin Did-den, CiDRA's founder and CEO. “True Liquid Flow and Entrained-Gas Monitoring System gives us a complete line of process systems that enable our customers to monitor some of their most critical processes as never before capable.”
SONARtrac is part of an expanding portfolio of process control systems available from CiDRA. Other products include its volumetric flow monitoring system, gas volume fraction monitoring system, gas holdup meter, active sonar meter, gas fraction meter, and total air monitor.
