ISA Expo 2005: Rockwell’s Roach to deliver keynote; automation series returns

Kevin Roach, vice president of software for Rockwell Automation and chairman of the Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association (MESA), is scheduled to deliver the opening keynote address at ISA Expo 2005. Roach will speak on “MES—Coming of Age” on Tuesday, Oct. 25. The talk will focus on market trends and customer expectations driving the future of MES. Roach will discuss seamless integration between the plant floor and business systems and the benefits it can generate.

In addition, Automation Connection Series, featuring automation experts, will return to the Expo, running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day of the convention. The series, popular at last year’s conference, offers presentations on industry topics from renowned experts and gives attendees a forum for asking questions. Presenters include ISA authors, standards committee leaders, corporate leaders, and other experts in the automation field.

ISA Expo 2005, sponsored by ISA, the Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society , takes place Oct. 25-27 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
