Highland Technology's V280 is a single-wide, 6U VME module that includes 48 isolated logic inputs and has independently programmable rising and falling edge response times to support contact debounce, glitch catching, and DC or AC inputs. Courtesy: HighlaHighland Technology's V280 is a single-wide, 6U VME module that includes 48 isolated logic inputs. It is available in versions for nominal 5 V or 24 V input levels. The V280 has independently programmable rising and falling edge response times to support contact debounce, glitch catching, and dc or ac inputs. The V280 is protected against reverse polarity input and overvoltages, and includes fast, transparent built-in self-test (BIST). Other features include an input state readout at full VMEbus speed without handshaking. It also has clearly labeled dipswitches set VME address; no jumpers, headers, or trimpots.
