Kontron receives Intel honors

Intel selected embedded computer builder Kontron to receive its “2007 Multi-core Alignment Award of Excellence” in the Alliance Hardware Member category. The award honors the Intel Communications Alliance member having the largest number and breadth of multicore products. Kontron boasts over 30 products in a wide range of form factors and system platforms.

Intel selected embedded computer builder Kontron to receive its “2007 Multi-core Alignment Award of Excellence” in the Alliance Hardware Member category. The award honors the Intel Communications Alliance member having the largest number and breadth of multicore products. Kontron boasts over 30 products in a wide range of form factors and system platforms. The company, through its Alliance relationship, is able to develop computing platforms that use new processors in parallel with the Intel’s chip development, making it possible to introduce platforms using the chips as soon as the new devices are available. This relationship makes it possible for OEMs to accelerate the release of solutions based on the latest Intel technology.
