Minneapolis, Minn.— Turck Inc.’s Multisafe level controllers, MS91 and MS191, monitor and regulate the level of conductive liquids and are suitable for all water-based liquids. MS91 is single channel, with relay outputs (DPDT contacts) and 50 x 75 mm modular housing. MS191 has two channels, each with one relay output (one SPDT contact), and one transistor output, and 100 x 75 mm modular housing. These level controllers can be adjusted for various conductivity conditions, which makes them compatible with many applications. The sensitivity is adjustable from 100 to 100,000 ohms. One of four preset sensitivity ranges can be selected at the terminal. An adjustable on/off time delay for turbulent liquids is included. As a single level regulator, these controllers can be used to monitor and protect against overflow or low level; as a dual-level regulator, they can also be used to control pumps and solenoid valves. The valves are typically used in bottling applications where a distinction between foam and liquid must be made.
