South Beloit, Ill. —Electrak 2000 hazardous duty linear actuator is designed for positioning applications in Class 1, Group D atmospheres such as paint booths or chemical processing. The step motor can handle a dynamic load of up to 625 lb at 1.5 in./sec and has a speed of up to 20 in./sec at 50 lb. For constant speed motion and cycling applications where programmability is not required, an Electrak 2000 with an ac synchronous motor is offered. The ac motor version handles a dynamic load of up to 650 lb at 0.2 in./sec and has a speed of up to 0.6 in./sec at 250 lb. It is designed to operate up to 50 million cycles.
