Logix platform enables distributed control
Milwaukee, Wis. -DeviceLogix scalable platform enables control in a variety of devices using a common programming/development tool. The first products are High Current and ArmorBlock MaXum I/O modules, CompactBlock I/O modules, 1799 Embedded I/O modules, 800E DeviceNet pushbutton stations, and DeviceNet starter auxiliary. Distribution of control reduces the load on a central controller. Devices can be programmed to a controlled shutdown. Local control, via cycle counts, can notify for preventive maintenance.
