OHDM-12 and OHDM-20 long-distance laser diffuse sensors with background suppression detect very small or thin objects and depressions at distances up to 1.5 m, regardless of background color or reflectivity. They provide an on/off signal and are suited for long-range part replacement, part detection, counting, and control monitoring in a range of industries, including automotive, food and beverage, semiconductor and electronics assembly, printing, packaging, and medical equipment manufacturing. OHDM 12 has a sensing range of 16-120 mm with a beam dia of 0.9-0.5 mm. Response time is less than 0.9 ms with release time less than 2.7 ms. OHDM 20 has a sensing range of 200-1,500 mm with a 2 mm beam dia. Response time is less than 0.6 ms with release time less than 18 ms. Both are IP67 rated with operating temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 °C. www.baumerelectric.com/usa Baumer Electric
