Milwaukee, Wis.— LaserSight 9000 is a photoelectric sensor equipped with a Class II laser-based optics system that is intended for applications where a long sensing distance is required and precision is key. Based on the Series 9000, the new sensor has features necessary for operation in harsh industrial applications, with the additional benefit of the visible laser. Maintaining proper alignment with both the target and the receiving sensor over a long distance can be difficult with a traditional photoelectric sensor. Because of this, the LaserSight has been equipped with a visible red diode emitter helping make alignment of the sensor easier for the user. Rockwell Automation
