Loop powered serial I/O DPM

Otek’s new LPM series, a 4½ LCD digit process meter that is powered by the current loop (4-20 or 10-50 mA), has an optional loop powered backlight (red or green) and is RS-232/485/USB compatible. Only two wires are required (in series with the loop) to make the LPM work as a basic loop powered display.

Process, Instrumentation
Otek’s new LPM series, a 4DC input, loop powered, or 5-48 V dc or 90-265 V ac power, 0.01% accuracy and linearity, zero and span adjustments for engineering units, captive screw terminal connector for high vibration, 100% metal enclosure with NEMA4X and EMI/RFI gaskets and one-half inch display. The LPM can be used as a simple loop powered display or PLC/DCS/SCADA/PC compatible interface when the serial I/O option is included. This allows for full control of parameters controlled by the microcontroller—span, zero, tare, hold, peak, scaling, baud rate, and polling. www.otekcorp.com OTEK
