Wilmington, MA -AD5273 is the lowest power, most compact 64-step digital trimmer in the industry, according to Analog Devices. AD5273 incorporates a one-time programmable (OTP) digitally controlled variable resistor (VR) that does the same electronic adjustment as a standard VR or potentiometer-but in a smaller and more reliable package. The OTP feature permanently sets the wiper position, an operation akin to placing epoxy on a mechanical trimmer. AD5273 provides 64-step resolution in a tiny 8-lead SOT-23 package (2.9 x 3 mm). It eliminates the need for careful matching of specific resistance values in electronic adjustment applications with poor tolerance distributions. Pricing is $0.68 each in 1,000-piece quantities.
