Low-profile motors

LARC Series motors achieve custom arc shapes and zero cogging in an extremely low profile package. Motors are applicable to any integrated mechanical system requiring lim-ited angle of rotation at large diameters. With a 360° magnet track, they can also run continuously. They are well suited for precision positioning with the use of a high-resolution encoder. Typical applications include scanning equipment, inspection machines, and any large-diameter, limited-angle positioning system. Series is driven by standard three-phase brushless motor controllers from 24 to 300 V with speeds from 0.1 to 1,000 rpm. Hall devices are a standard option.
