Courtesy: YaskawaThe MP2300Siec machine controller from Yaskawa integrates a motion engine with the IEC 61131-3 and PLCopen programming standards. These controllers include a built-in web server for easy maintenance and Ethernet connectivity compatible with the most popular network protocols.

The MP2300Siec is available in 4,8, and 16-axis and is preconfigured with a local I/O module which has 16 optically isolated inputs, 16 optically isolated outputs and a master encoder input. Users can also select from one of eight local I/O modules for one open slot. EtherNet/IP, Modbus/TCP, and web server diagnostics included on all models and expanded I/O can be attained through EtherNet/IP, Modbus/TCP, and/or Mechatrolink-II network I/O modules.
