Courtesy: Alicat ScientificAlicat Scientific's Basis 20SLPM is a mass flow controllers designed to fit a wider range of applications including sparging into liquids, sample dilution, and many gas mixing applications. Specifically designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and process integration, Basis provides fast, accurate control of gas flow rates. It is designed for use in OEM gas analyzers, automated gas mixing on process lines, and anywhere mass flow-only control is required. Basis is available with the following multi-gas calibrations: Air, Ar, CO2, N2, O2, N2O (selectable over serial connection); He, H2 are also available in single-gas units. Multiple communications options—RS-485, RS-232 and Modbus Serial; and 0 to 5 Vdc analog—mean Basis can be built into a broad range of end-user products. For process applications, the availability of analog and digital feedback allows for both programmable logic controller (PLC) and PC control options.
