PIC18F45J10 family of 8-bit microcontrollers are said to be among the world’s fastest to provide 32 KB of flash program memory in 28-pin packages. The four models offer 40 MHz performance at 3V, and analog-to-digital (ADC), comparator, USART, SPI, I2C, and PWM peripherals at 30% less cost over 5-V microcontrollers. General-purpose design can be used in a wide range of cost-sensitive applications, such as electronics, applications, industrial, and medical. Other features include 10-bit ADC with 10 or 13 channels, up to two SPI and two Master I2C serial communication ports, and one 8-bit and two 16-bit timers. www.microchip.com Microchip Technology Inc.
