Rabbit 4000 is said to offer improved features from integrated Ethernet to hardware DMA to meet the needs of demanding connectivity and control embedded applications. Microprocessor comes in two RoHS-compliant packages: 128-pin LQFP and 128-pin TFBGA configurations. New features include integrated 10Base-T Ethernet, 16-bit memory device support, and page-mode memory device support. More than 500 new instructions increase processing speed and efficiency. Programming is simple using the Dynamic C software development system. Integrated features let embedded engineers develop smaller designs for diverse implementation.
