Gore has added a smaller diameter cable to the Gore-Flight Microwave Assembly, 6 series, which is designed to reduce total costs by withstanding installation challenges, preventing costly production delays, field service frequency, and the need for purchaGore has added a smaller diameter cable to the Gore-Flight Microwave Assembly, 6 series. The addition uses Size 8 RF contacts to reduce insertion loss. Insertion loss is maintained during and after installation, ensuring reliable performance for the life of the system. The cables are designed to reduce total costs by withstanding the challenges of installation, preventing costly production delays, field service frequency, and the need for purchasing replacement assemblies. These lightweight assembly constructions improve fuel efficiency and increase payload.
