Milliamp clamp meters save time for automation technicians

Fluke Corp. introduced two new milliamp (mA) clamp meters designed to help technicians test critical automation and control circuits without breaking the circuit or interrupting operations. The new Fluke 772 and 773 milliamp clamp meters join the Fluke 771; applications include instrumentation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Fluke Corp. introduced two new milliamp (mA) clamp meters designed to help technicians test critical automation and control circuits without breaking the circuit or interrupting operations. The new Fluke 772 and 773 milliamp clamp meters join the Fluke 771; applications include instrumentation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. All three models measure the minute amounts of current (4 to 20 mA signals) that flow through control system circuits without having to shut down the system, break the circuit, and insert a test instrument. Instead, sensitive current clamps placed on the wire detect and measure the current flowing through. The result can be significant time savings. All models feature: simultaneous mA and % span readings; 0.01 mA resolution on 20 mA applications; detachable jaw; built-in flashlight; and IP 40 rating. www.fluke.com Fluke Corp.
