ABB's SU 200 M miniature circuit breaker (MCB) features an extended ac and dc rating of 40 amps at 277Y/480 V ac designed to protect larger loads. It also has a dual ac/dc rating to reduce the number of SKUs required for inventory and durable housing to prevent damage while in transit. The SU 200 M also features laser-printed markings for deciphering and identifying approvals and product attributes such as the number of poles, trip curve and amperage. SU 200 M MCBs have a reference temperature at 40 C (104 F) and is UL- and CSA-approved for use in enclosures, panelboards and other warm-environment applications. It is also compatible with existing UL 489 System pro M compact accessories, including auxiliary/signal contacts, shunt trips and busbars, which further reduces inventory and eliminates the need to update bills of materials.
