Modbus TCP to RTU gateway for Ethernet networks
ICP DAS USA's tGW-735i Modbus TCP to RTU gateway that is designed to allow a Modbus TCP host to communicate with up to three serial Modbus RTU/ASCII devices through an Ethernet network.
ICP DAS USA’s tGW-735i Modbus TCP to RTU gateway not features 2500 Vdc isolation and is equipped with one Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) port and three RS-485 Ports. The tGW-735i is designed to allow a Modbus TCP host to communicate with up to three serial Modbus RTU/ASCII devices through an Ethernet network. The gateway can also be used to create a pair-connection application as well as serial-bridge or serial-tunnel application. It can then route data over TCP/IP between two serial Modbus RTU/ASCII devices, which is useful for connecting mainframe computers, servers, or other serial devices that use Modbus RTU/ASCII protocols, but do not have Ethernet capability. The tGW-735i also supports dynamic host communication protocol (DHCP) client function, which allows it to obtain the necessary TCP/IP configuration information from a DHCP server.
