Esslingen, Germany— Compact Performance (CP) valves and valve terminals were designed for system clarity and compact design. The valve terminals are said to be suitable for every type of system structure, whether pneumatic or electrical connections are involved. Even after installation, valves and functions can be added or changed in a variable fashion as required with the CP valve terminal. The terminal can be expanded to include a maximum of 22 solenoid coils with multiple or single valve connection, or 16 solenoid coils with the fieldbus version. The system also allows for a maximum of 4 coils (addresses) with AS-Interface.
