Laird's BL652 module is designed for Enterprise Internet of Things (EIoT) applications such as industrial or commercial settings, medical peripherals, and sensors and beacons. Courtesy: Laird TechnologyLaird's BL652 module is designed to simplify RF design and certification efforts for Enterprise Internet of Things (EIoT) projects while delivering enhanced security via the Nordic nRF52 Chipset and BLE 4.2 technology. The BL652 is ideal for a number of applications such as industrial or commercial settings, medical peripherals, and sensors and beacons. The module also features robust security as well as strong power performance, which is critical for EIoT applications where Bluetooth low energy (BLE) devices must run battery-powered for an extended amount of time without human intervention. The module's has a small 14 x 10 mm form factor and optimized low power schemes. The module gives customers the freedom to design either with the Nordic Software Development Kit or smartBasic. The smartBasic option provides a stand-alone Bluetooth environment for embedded design that enables designers without BLE design experience and C programming experience to quickly complete projects.
