Molex releases new connection system and expanded line of Ethernet switches
Announcements made by Molex at the SPS/IPC/Drives show featured the Ultra-Lock 8-pole connection system and industrial Ethernet switches with 16 and 18 ports.

Nuremberg, Germany —Announcements made by Molex at the SPS/IPC/Drives show, November 25-27, 2008, featured the Ultra-Lock 8-pole connection system and industrial Ethernet switches with 16 and 18 ports.
The Ultra-Lock 8-pole connection system features Molex’s Ultra-Lock connection in a higher pin count to handle a broader array of applications suchection system’s O-ring radial seal is operator-independent, leaving no chance of over or under tightening.
Also announced was the the expansion of the Molex family of BradCommunications Direct-Link industrial Ethernet switches tody, filtering broadcast storms to eliminate performance issues due to unnecessary “spam” messages, and prioritization of messages to ensure the network is functioning at its peak performance.
