Dual 15-in. LCD monitor from DoubleSight Displays, LLC , with 1.57 megapixels is de-signed for users who simultaneously view multiple applications. Priced at $799, the DS-1500 harnesses two, 15-in. LCD flat panels with 2,048 x 768 pixel resolution in a side-by-side configuration mounted on a single, space-efficient base stand. Supported by Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh computers, the device seamlessly displays as much data as a single 20-in. monitor and manages several sources of information without time-consuming switching between windows.

A flat-panel monitor database, new from Digital Tigers Inc. , helps users find the right moni-tors for their needs. Database/search engine has hundreds of displays from a variety of manufacturers, and includes searchable specifications and vendor recommendations. Search by any of a number of criteria, including brand, price, size, resolution, number of digital/analog inputs, video inputs, speakers, rotation support, and even bezel width. Display products from Digital Tigers include its SideCar product line, which enables Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh notebook computers to drive up to four additional displays. Product is a small external chassis that attaches to notebook computers through a PC card interface and lets notebooks use multiple monitors with the performance of fast desktop graphics controllers and the superior flat-panel and projector display quality of digital connections. Support for traditional analog connections is also provided. The latest addition to the line, the SideCar PlusFour Pro adds four independent displays to a Windows notebook with 2D and 3D perform-ance and advanced features.

StealthVU Model SV-2100 industrial grade LCD monitor from Stealth Computer Corp . features a 21-in. all-steel enclosed touchscreen built to withstand harsh environments. NEMA 4/IP 66 displays, used primarily as operator interfaces, withstand water, dust and dirt intrusion. High-precision 21.3-in. viewable unit can run resolutions up to its native mode UXGA of 1,600 x 1,200 pixels with both analog and digital input sources.
