Detroit, Mich. - Accu-Sort Systems exhibited several new products at the recent Material Handling and Logistics show and conference: NA 2002 . AccuVision 3800 CCD camera-based bar code reader at 12- x 10.5- x 6.5-in. is more compact than its model 3700 predecessor, yet is connector-compatible with it and features an adaptor plate for drop-in electromechanical compatibility. It supports Accu-Sort's coplaner illumination, VisionCube automatic dimensioning, VisionCapture image capture, storage and recall, and VisionKey remote data entry options.

Sentient RFR-02 self-contained RFID reader supports ISO 15693 and Texas Instruments Tag-it protocols. It incorporates a modulator/demodulator, analog-to-digital converter, decoder, and communications in a NEMA 4 enclosure.

Fast suite of flexible automation tools is comprised of product labeling, automated sortation, production counting, data management, and system maintenance/graphical system monitoring modules. FastLabel capabilities include package tracking, conveyor hardware interface setup, user security, product data tables, diagnostic information, plus label design. FastSort provides high-speed sortation control. FastCount production counting system maintains up to 31 days of statistics on product throughput. FastComm data management and system monitoring tools enabling operators to configure, monitor, and maintain database, reporting, and other processing activities. FastView real-time graphical system monitor allows for import of AutoCad drawings.
