Cary, NC —The sensors division of MTS Systems Corp. , a company that develops and produces magnetostrictive linear-position and liquid level sensors, is now a member of the Rockwell Automation Encompass Program for the Americas regions. Encompass is a product referencing program designed to identify, qualify, and market third-party manufactured products that complement Rockwell Automation’s products.

“MTS is proud to be a member of the Encompass Program as it will further assist our industrial customers in recognizing quality equipment and applications that make use of our magnetostrictive sensors,” said Lee Aiken, product marketing manager at MTS Sensors.

Products referenced in the program must be provided by reputable, sound companies committed to product and service quality and must enhance and extend the Rockwell solution through built-in connectivity to a Rockwell architecture or as a critical component to the solution.

According to the Rockwell Web site, the Encompass program “creates a path for critical information exchange and improved solutions in the marketplace by linking technical and commercial resources of Rockwell Automation and the Encompass partner.”
