Muhammad Mubeen, president of Phoenix Tech Consulting. Courtesy: Phoenix Tech ConsultingMuhammad Mubeen, (BSEE, Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, 1973, MBA, Oklahoma State University, 1975) is the president of Phoenix Tech Consulting, a firm which is focused on the motion control business. In this capacity Muhammad advises both large and small firms with respect to business, engineering, marketing and sourcing strategies. Muhammad has been a consultant for the past 10 years. In the past, Muhammad has worked for four major automation companies in engineering and marketing/sales capacities.

He has experience in engineering, manufacturing, sales and business in the following technologies: permanent magnet brushless servos, permanent magnet brush type servos, induction motors and servos. Muhammad has written several articles on brushless motor and control technology, step motor technology and control electronics. Many of these articles have featured in major technical publications and some of them have become “classic articles” and are used for training purposes at major companies. He is currently authoring a book on brushless motors and controls, which is being written from the perspective of application engineering and the business of motion control.
