Murata Power Solutions Datel Digital PanelMeters, ACM20 Series: New models read Hertz, plus true rms Volts, Amps, and Watts.

Murata Power Solutions has expanded its offering of Datel Digital Panel Meters with two new additions to its "ACM20 Series of Four-Function AC Power Meters." The new models can measure and display frequency in Hertz (Hz) in addition to indicating true-rms ac Volts (V), Amps (A), and Watts (W); existing models display power factor rather than frequency. Photo, right, is said to be actual size.

The new additions to the range are the ACM20-5-AC1-R-F-C offering ameasurement range of 0 A to 32 A (with 0.01 A resolution), and theACM20-4-AC1-R-F-C that has a 0 A to 100 A range (with 0.1A resolution).Enhancements to existing models, and also incorporated in the newmeters, are UL safety agency approvals, and an increase in the maximumpower reading for 100 A models from 9,999 W to 26.4 kW.

All ACM20 models gain UL safety agency approvals and maximum power reading for 100 A models increased to 26.4 kW for the units, with universal 85 V ac to 264 V ac operating range.

Broadening the range and measurement capability of the ACM20 series makes the ac power meters suitable for use in more applications including those in emerging markets such as alternative energy and residential energy monitoring. The ACM20 series has a typical full-scale accuracy of

They feature a large 9.2 mm (0.36 in.), four-digit, bright red LED display that allows measurements to be easily read from distances of up to 5 m. A front panel selector switch provides two modes of operation: a fixed reading of any of the four parameters, or a continuous cycling through of all four measurements. The one-piece, vibration resistant polycarbonate housing is suitable for installation in vertical 0U and 1U rack spaces.

A universal 85 to 264 V ac (at 47 Hz to 63Hz) operating voltage allows the compact, rugged, surface mount ACM20 series to be used worldwide. Overall dimensions are 53.3 mm (2.1 in.) x 36.3 mm (1.43 in.) x 12.95 mm (0.51 in.) and operating temperature range is 0 °C to +60 °C.

Small quantities (less than ten) are available from stock, while OEM quantities are 12 weeks ARO.

Like Fort Knox. Solid defense in depth.
Well defended, I think, but not positive.
Working on it, but not there yet.
Few defenses, but who would find us?
