NCBC unites energy efficiency and green building design experts with construction and operation industry professionals to talk about the latest trends and technologies that make commercial buildings work properly and efficiently.
More than 60 speakers and 400 conference attendees are expected to gather for sessions that focus on industry standardization, persistence strategies and technical advancements, communication, market strategies, and commissioning in the new energy economy.
The pre-conference workshops on June 2 offer hands-on learning about building controls as well as insights into the LEED New Construction certification process.
“Analog Lessons for a Digital World” will focus on the fundamentals of pneumatic controls, including operating principles, applications considerations, and hardware. The associated lab session will allow attendees to try out pneumatic demonstrators themselves. David Sellers, PE, senior engineer, Facility Dynamics Engineering, will be instructing. A highly experienced commissioning design engineer, facility operator, and commissioning provider, Sellers also is a blogger for NCBC media sponsor, Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine .
