The CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA) marked its 15th anniversary since the founding of the organization and the birth of the family of CC-Link open automation network technologies. The CC-Link Partner Association provides support to member companies as well as technical assistance in developing CC-Link compatible products.

CC-Link is an industrial network technology designed to enable devices from numerous manufacturers to communicate resulting in a fast, deterministic control system. CC-Link is an open-architecture network that was originally developed by Mitsubishi Electric. CC-Link since became an open technology that is managed by the CLPA and its more than 2300 association partners all over the world. There are more than 1400 CC-Link compatible products, which include industrial PCs, PLCs, robots, servos, drives, valve manifolds, digital & analog I/O modules, temperature controllers, mass flow controllers, and many others.

Developments in the last few years have seen the CLPA use its base in Asia as a tool to assist partner companies throughout America to expand their business in this important and ever growing market. This led to the Gateway to Asia (G2A) program, which was started in order to assist companies to develop and market CC-Link IE and CC-Link compatible devices throughout the Asian market when they join the CLPA and pass conformance testing.
