Umetrics , a provider of multivariate data analysis software and training, has released Simca Batch On-line (SBOL) Version 3.3. This on-line multivariate analysis software performs batch process monitoring and MSPC (multivariate statistical process control), which can generate a “fingerprint” for the running batch.

The company says that existing Umetrics users will find that SBOL 3.3 is compatible with Simca-P+ version 12. It allows comparisons between a running batch and a training set batch, allowing the system to plot two process variables on the same chart, and has improved memory use and catch-up functionality.

“Version 3.3 represents an important upgrade, with new functionalities and the continued focus on flexibility and interpretability,” says Lars Lindström, Umetrics general manager. “The improvements in SBOL 3.3 will make it even more powerful and still easier to use.”
