Temecula, Calif.— Opto 22 has introduced the Snap-LCM4, a versatile, real-time controller, and the newest member of Opto 22’s Snap family of control and I/O products. This product provides a platform for solving control application problems by combining analog and digital control, serial communications, math processing, networking, and distributed I/O processing into a single, easy-to-implement environment. Some of its features include: a 32 bit Motorola 68030 processor for high speed logic solving, a floating-point math co-processor with extensive math command set, 4 MB of battery-backed RAM and 2 MB of Flash for program storage, and seamless integration to motion control products.
