MDR family of fiber channel-based, preconfigured, modular data recorders for VME-based systems easily integrates advanced real-time data recording into high-performance data acquisition systems. Features include 385-Mbit/s sustained recording performance and a real-time file system. Web-based graphical user interface allows easy networking and control of multiple recorders. With Flexible Fibre Channel SAN (storage area network) technology, data recording environments can be easily expanded without performance degradation. MDR can record multiple high-bandwidth streams of data with an aggregate performance of 385 Mbit/s and is compatible with Vmetro’s existing data recorder environments and SAN Access Kit.
