Chicago, Ill. - Baumer Electric introduced MagRes magnetic absolute encoder featuring up to 10-bit resolution in a single-turn configuration. Available in a standard encoder-style housing or a non-contact kit version, these encoders are zero-point programmable, feature SSI and parallel outputs, and operates optimally in temperatures from -20 to 85 deg C. The non-contact version measures 15.5 mm depth, weighs 50 grams, and offers IP68 sealing on its face. Standard version weighs 120 grams and features a cable connection. The shaft is IP42 sealed while the housing is IP64.

ProCoder multi-turn absolute optical rotary encoder employs a modular, exchangable bus cover that enables it to be integrated into one of several bus systems, including SSI, CANopen, DeviceNet, and Profibus. The product features 29-bit resolution, radial connector, 200 g shock protection, and IP65 sealing. A 13-bit single-turn version is also available.
