NMW 2004: DPAC shows WLAN-to-serial, WLAN-to-Ethernet bridges

Chicago, IL—DPAC Technologies exhibited at NMW 2004 its AirborneDirect family of fully integrated 802.11b wireless local area network (WLAN) bridge products, which provide wireless LAN and Internet connectivity to industrial, scientific, medical, and automotive applications.

Chicago, IL— DPAC Technologies exhibited at NMW 2004 its AirborneDirect family of fully integrated 802.11b wireless local area network (WLAN) bridge products, which provide wireless LAN and Internet connectivity to industrial, scientific, medical, and automotive applications.

AirborneDirect includes DPAC’s ABDB-SE-DP101 wireless LAN-to-serial bridges and its ABDB-ET-DP101 wireless LAN-to-Ethernet bridges. Their highly integrated hardware and software enables plug-and-play capabilities, which significantly reduces the complexity of deploying wireless systems and achieving network connectivity.

DPAC adds that integrating AirborneDirect with existing OEM platforms can significantly enhance a product’s value and functionality to give OEMs a competitive advantage.

These bridge are further aided by DPAC's Evaluation Kit, which provides software and utilities that allow developers to quickly and easily operate and evaluate a bridge.
