Non-incendive, intrinsically safe, and explosion-proof pressure transmitters
Transmitter family from AST now offers ¼ in. connection for retrofits and new installations where space is limited.
American Sensor Technologies, Inc. (AST), has expanded its line of non-incendive, intrinsically safe, and explosion-proof pressure transmitter product lines with the addition ofisting ½ in. NPT male pressure port has been popular for its large, non-clogging opening, but the ¼ in. NPT female version gives customers the option to install products as retrofits for existing panels or sites using smaller and lower-cost fittings.
Customers can select a non-incendive, intrinsically safe, or explosion-proof rating depending on the application. The 4300, 4310, and 43LP series combine to offer pressure ranges of 0-2.5 psi to 0-10,000 psi for Class I Division 2 non-incendive groups A, B, C, D applications. The same pressure ranges are available in the 4400, 4410, and 44LP series rated for Class I Division 1 intrinsically safe groups C, D with an approved barrier. Finally, the 4600 will operate in Class I Division 1 explosion-proof groups A, B, C, D areas and 46HA in groups C and D with pressure ranges from 0-50 psi to 0-10,000 psi.
All products can be offered with AST's CSA ANSI/ISA 12.27.01-2007 Single Seal rating for pressure measurement applications in Canada.
