EPX PowerStation from Parker Automation-CTC includes an 8-in. TFT display, analog resistive touchscreen, and unlimited-tag runtime software.

Milford, OH —Open-platform EPX PowerStation package from Parker Automation-CTC consists of an industrial PC with an 8-in. TFT display and analog resistive touchscreen. System comes pre-installed and licensed with InteractX Windows HMI unlimited-tag runtime software.With standard 4.0 GB CompactFlash storage, the EPX runs a fully functional Microsoft Windows XP Pro OS and uses non-rotating storage media to enhance reliability. Unlimited-tag runtime system supports more than 60 communication drivers, fully rendered and scalable graphics, multi-language supports, and tools for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and electronic signatures. Features include an intuitive, object-style development system for real-time data acquisition, enhanced user administration, operator/event tracking with network security auto-detection and complete tag editing, and integrated VBA and ActiveX tools for customization.Each system includes embedded Celeron CPU, 512 MB DRAM, 64 MB video memory, external Type II CompactFlash slot, bootable USB ports, RS-232 and RS-232/422/485 ports, and 100BaseT Ethernet port. Its NEMA 4/4X-rated 8-in. size fits cutout dimensions of popular operator panels to make it a suitable drop-in replacement or alternative HMI for many existing machines.
