Oracle bundles Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 on HP infrastructure hardware
Hardware, software, and services bundle from Oracle and HP targets midsize industrial manufacturers, to help manage and grow business.
Oracle and HP launched a new Oracle Accelerate solution for midsize industrial manufacturers through Oracle Consulting. This validated Oracle Accelerate solution bundles hardware, software and services to help midsize industrial manufacturers effectively manage and grow their businesses and streamline IT implementations, Oracle said in a Dec. 2 announcement. Created and delivered by Oracle Consulting, the new solution consists of the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 pre-loaded on HP infrastructure hardware.
The collaborative effort between the Oracle and HP provides a scalable, affordable solution with a predictable price, scope and timeline, minimizing the complexity and risk of an IT investment decision, Oracle said.
The new Accelerate Solution is built on the scalable, energy-efficient HP BladeSystem infrastructure and HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Arrays. A range of hardware configurations are available based on the number of Oracle E-Business Suite users. Pre-loaded and pre-configured at HP Factory Express, this offering helps reduce the length of the implementation cycle and accelerate time to value and return on investment, Oracle noted. The solution includes on-site hardware set-up and application-specific technical support during implementation.
Oracle Consulting said it helps companies realize long-term, sustainable, and measurable business benefits from their Oracle investment by providing industry expertise and knowledge as well as flexible delivery options. Oracle Business Accelerators are rapid implementation tools, templates and industry- and geography-specific leading practice process flows provided by Oracle to partners designed to help dramatically reduce implementation time, complexity, cost and risk.
