Daniel Senior Model 2000 orifice fitting from Emerson Process Management is intended to improve safety, maintenance, and up-time (compared to the original device) while meeting applicable API 14.3, AGA 3, and ISO 5167 specifications. Greaseless isolation valve provides a bubble-tight seal, minimizing valve lubrication and personnel exposure to pipeline contents. A redundant seal mechanism is incorporated to promote continuous long-term operation. A plate release mechanism helps remove a stuck plate carrier from the metering position. Design also incorporates standard o-rings and includes a retractable locking pin to secure the isolation valve in position when closed.
