Beaverton, Ore. —TDS3000 is the second family of digital phosphor oscilloscopes (DPO) in less than six months. Touted as "the DPO for everyone," TDS3000 family is priced at $2,995 and features up to 500 MHz bandwidth, four-channel operation, and 5 gigasamples per second sample rate. DPOs display, store, and analyze in real-time using three dimensions of signal information: amplitude, time, and distribution of amplitude over time. This combines the intensity-graded display and responsiveness of an analog oscilloscope with the storage and measurement capabilities of a digital storage oscilloscope. Other features include color display, advanced logic and pulse triggering, and Fast Fourier Transform analysis. Tektronix Inc.
