Over-the-side immersion heaters are designed for heating clear, opaque, or hard-to-heat liquids (from water to raw crude) in containers such as tanks and drums. Heaters come in hundreds of different configurations with capacities from 8 to 120 kW and lengths from 21 to 124 in. Heavy-duty incoloy heating elements are used to provide corrosion resistance. Standard features include welded heating elements, sealed terminals, and rugged welded spacers. Heaters can be removed for cleaning or repairs.
