P&E Automation awarded multiple federal energy efficiency projects

Projects include the Marine Corp base in South Carolina, and air force bases in North Dakota and Oklahoma.

P&E has been selected to provide on-site resource efficiency management services at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C. P&E will support the depot's energy and facilities teams and the Marine Corps' eastern recruiting region by providing energy management expertise to reduce energy consumption, increase the use of renewable energy, build personnel awareness of and involvement in energy efficiency, and reduce the carbon footprint of the depot.
The company has also been awarded contracts to provide advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) products and services at Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma, Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota and Cavalier Air Force Station also in North Dakota. The AMI initiatives will enable the Air Force to implement energy efficiency measures in compliance with the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
The Air Force projects include installation of P&E's own energy management product offerings, and will enable Air Force personnel to track, manage, and reduce energy consumption at these bases.
