Panasonic Electric Works' AFPX-RTD2 communication cassette for the Panasonic FP-X series PLC is a two-channel RTD unit that supports PT100 type sensors with resolution of 0.1(deg)C.

 

Panasonic Electric Works Corporation of America introduces a new addition to the set of analog, digital I/O, and communication cassettes available for the Panasonic FP-X series programmable logic controller (PLC). The AFPX-RTD2 (Resistance Temperature Detectors) extends the line of cassettes for the FP-X to 17 types. The AFPX-RTD2 is a two-channel RTD unit that supports PT100 type sensors with resolution of 0.1

 

One RTD cassette can be used with any AFPX-C14 CPU, or two cassettes (total of 4 channels) on AFPX-C30 and AFPX-C60 CPU. The AFPX-RTD2 offers a quick plug-and-play solution to expand the functions of Panasonic FP-X series PLC.

 

The compact, brick-style Panasonic FP-X PLC series has processing speed of 0.32
