The new EZ-Zone PM Express panel mount controller from Watlow reportedly fills the need for a PID controller delivering advanced control functionality while having a basic user interface. The interface is supported by two menus and a streamlined list of parameters making the product suited for basic applications and user levels. The Express menu comes with PID auto-tune for fast, efficient startup. The controller includes one universal input and the option for up to two outputs, and is available in 1/32 or 1/16 DIN panel mount packages. It can be ordered as a PID process controller or a dedicated over- and under-temperature limit controller. Standard bus communications provide easy product configuration via PC communications with EZ-Zone Configurator, as well as connectivity to EZ-Zone RM, ST and RUI product lines. www.watlow.com/EZ-zone
