AWS-8129H PC-based industrial workstation from the eAutomation Group of Advantech is intended for factories and other harsh industrial environments. It features a 12.1-in. color TFT LCD and two membrane keypads.

AWS-8129H PC-based industrial workstation from the eAutomation Group of Advantech features a 12.1-in. color TFT LCD. Also included are three ISA, four PCI, and two PICMG slots for added flexibility for application specific requirements. Other features include a PS/2 port, USB port, floppy disk drive, and optional CD-ROM drive behind a front-accessible protective door.

Workstation incorporates two membrane keypads: one with 47 operating keys including 26 alpha characters and one with 10 function keys, 10 programmable macro function keys, reset, and power on/off. In addition, the unit has six OSD (on screen display) keys (display on/off, brightness up/down, menu select, exit) and a touchpad with two mouse buttons. The operating system supports Microsoft Windows 95, 98, 2000, and XP.

AWS-8129H is designed for use in factories and other harsh industrial environments. It is RoHS compliant and its front panel design is suited for NEMA4/IP65 applications. Prices start at $1,768.
