PC/104 single-board computer with AMD processor

Diamond Systems Corp. released its latest PC/104 form factor single-board computer, Rhodeus, based on the AMD LX800 processor. It features mid-range computing power in a compact, low-power-consumption, low-cost computer. Rhodeus uses the AMD Geode LX800 processor operating fan-less at 500 MHz and includes 64 KB L1 cache and 128 KB L2 cache.

Diamond Systems Corp. released its latest PC/104 form factor single-board computer, Rhodeus, based on the AMD LX800 processor. It features mid-range computing power in a compact, low-power-consumption, low-cost computer. Rhodeus uses the AMD Geode LX800 processor operating fan-less at 500 MHz and includes 64 KB L1 cache and 128 KB L2 cache. The board supports up to 1 GB of DDR SDRAM using an SO-DIMM socket and provides IDE and CompactFlash mass storage options. Video consists of an integrated VGA controller with 2D acceleration and support for high-resolution CRT and LCD displays. A full set of I/O is provided to support application requirements, including Ethernet, UDMA-33 IDE, 2 USB 2.0 ports, one RS-232, one RS-232/422/485 serial port, floppy, legacy keyboard and mouse, and programmable watchdog timer.
