Performance software: Construction product manufacturer links production, enterprise

Australian steel manufacturer implements KPI/KPD monitoring platform.

04/02/2008

Ausreo , an Australian manufacturer of concrete reinforcement products, has implemented a new software platform to integrate performance reporting and connect manufacturing and enterprise level KPI (key performance indicator) monitoring.

Ausreo has chosen myDials’ hosted software solution , a platform that the company says can link and present operations and business metrics as they change. The system supports consistent and timely analysis of operations, production, and business metrics. Ausreo management, including the CEO, CFO, and general managers, expect to view safety, sales, production and inventory data, and then compare the information to corporate and industry targets.

A supplier for projects including the Spencer Street Railway Station in Melbourne and the Epping to Chatswood Rail Link in Sydney, Ausreo is implementing myDials across its operations in Victoria and New South Wales.

“As a steel manufacturing business, understanding the key business drivers is critical to our success, and having that information available in a clear, crisp display wherever I am in the world is a real step forward,” says Dennis Crestani, CEO, Ausreo. “Within days of myDials being implemented, we were able to see the complete picture for our safety data and a sample of our production data. We are looking forward to rolling out myDials to more of our employees which will then result in the alignment of organizational behavior with our KPIs.”

The company says that by combining business and operational KPIs from heterogeneous systems, myDials delivers on-demand, actionable metrics and associated key performance drivers (KPDs) to optimize decision making, drive aligned behavior and support company goals. The myDials user interface provides each individual user with a consistent set of interrelated metrics displayed with contextual visualization to enhance understanding, along with embedded expertise and guided diagnosis to improve analysis.
